Michael Huynh is the visionary founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pheratech Systems. Alex Hynds serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Pheratech Systems, bringing a unique background of interdisciplinality to the company. A computer scientist by trade, Alex also has extensive experience melding the world of technology with the world of artistic ambition. Naturally, the combination of biology and technology is an appealing next step. As Operating Officer, Alex oversees all day-to-day facilities and operations to ensure maximum quality product delivery in a timely manner. Through his leadership, the innovative robotic systems that Pheratech designs can become a reality.

Michael joins us with over 25 years of experience in the federal government and private sector. He retired in 2022 from his roles as the Acting Chief Patrol Agent and Deputy Chief Patrol Agent for the New Orleans Sector of the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP). As an Associate Chief at USBP Headquarters, he led the largest division within the Law Enforcement Operations Directorate, impacting all 20 USBP sectors. Michael was key in fielding the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) program and led a strike team to counter cross-border SUAS activities. We are grateful to have his expertise guiding our R&D and testing phases. His knowledge of the government-tech sector and border operations will be invaluable in driving Pheratech to success.
